About the Role:

Concert Band Director, part time, required for 2017, for our Junior and Senior Concert Bands. 2 hours per week (mornings before school), with some weekend rehearsals, evening performances and a weekend camp. Company ACG Parnell College Type Part Time (0.1) from January 23rd, 2017 until December 6th, 2017 Description Main Purpose
To perform the role of Concert Band Director, including all rehearsals, performances and camps as required

This will involve the following activities:
  • Source appropriate music for competitions and performances
  • Ensure students are prepared for all competitions and performances
  • Schedule additional rehearsals as required, to ensure students present themselves appropriately in performance situations
  • Attend all agreed rehearsals, workshops, camps and concerts (including evenings and weekends)
  • As far as practicable, make yourself available to take on any additional performances should the opportunities arrive at a later date
  • Maintain communication with Music Faculty Co-ordinator by email and by phone, to ensure both of you are informed of related activities
