Where do you want to teach today?
Dulwich International High School Suzhou (DHSZ), established in 2012, is a highly selective, independent, private, English-medium, co-educational four-year high school. Suzhou is a major prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province, 200 kms west of Shanghai. DHSZ is currently located on a shared campus with our sister school, Dulwich College Suzhou. The majority of our approximately 450 students are PRC nationals who will pursue their university studies outside of China. To this end, our students have opted out of the Chinese education system (gaokao) to follow a curriculum leading to IGCSEs and A-Levels.
Our current site provides our students with an excellent environment for learning and access to a wide range of educational resources. More than four times the size of the old space shared with Suzhou High School, the new purpose-built building offers 16,959 square meters of space and numerous opportunities for students new and old. Each room has access to smart technology, as well as central air conditioning and air filtration systems, to ensure the best learning environment. With 56 indoor teaching spaces covering a wide range of courses, including new science labs custom designed to maximize student engagement in course material, facilities new to DHSZ students, such as a library, a black box theatre, music practice rooms, sport fields, a roof garden, and a medical centre, there is so much for the students to take advantage of in our new home.
