Where do you want to teach today?
We are an independent international school based in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. We accept students aged 3-18 to be educated in accordance with either the British National Curriculum (resulting in IGCSE and A-level secondary education certificates and facilitating entry into British universities) or the International Baccalaureate Programme (a rigorous, widely recognized secondary education programme that is gaining worldwide popularity with every passing day). We are an official examinations centre, approved by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) and the European Council of International Schools (ECIS).
The British International School in Ukraine is a school confident and secure in its mission of providing a world class education to the children it serves, placing them at the centre of everything we do.
Whichever campus you walk into you will find a warm and welcoming family atmosphere. You will immediately sense the children's strong connection with their school and the teachers who teach them. We believe in, and actively promote, strong home school partnerships, with visitors to our school often commenting on the community ethos they experience.
The British International School in Ukraine is an inclusive international community which promotes lifelong learning, creative thinking and global awareness, in a caring and supportive environment.
We provide a world class education which challenges students to be open-minded, balanced and courageous.
BISU believes that the acquisition of knowledge is a life-long process that is nurtured in a stimulating learning community in which students can fulfill their potential, meet challenges with confidence and purpose, and develop the characteristics needed to succeed as an internationally-minded global citizen.
